Josh Curtis is a previous president of the local chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) which is dedicated to protecting clients’ ability to be financially self-reliant without government dependence. He has also been a qualifier for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) organization, which represents an elite group of advisors around the world.

Josh considers his passion for serving his clients as driven by seeing them gain confidence in reaching their financial goals. He is a native of Columbus, Nebraska, and has been serving his clients across the state since 2011, where he began his career as an agent with Ohio National.

In 2015, Josh started Clarity Financial, an independent firm. In the early stages of building Clarity, Josh began searching for a new income model for his clients in retirement. The ideal model would deliver higher potential withdrawal rates, reduce sequence-of-returns risk and help clients stay invested during volatile markets.

This new strategy developed into what’s now called the Portfolio Waterfall™. The strategy has been reviewed by several chartered financial analysts and analysts at some of the largest firms in the industry, such as Lincoln Financial Group, who recently updated their variable annuity platform for the Portfolio Waterfall™ strategy.

Currently, Josh is working with The Leaders Group, his broker-dealer, in building a new investment advisory platform. As an MDRT qualifying advisor, he’s also been part of its Top of the Table production for 2021. Additionally, Josh has been involved in NAIFA throughout his career and is currently a board member for the local Financial Services Professional organization.

Josh currently lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, with his wife, Stephanie, and Noah and Adelynn, their children. Away from the office, he loves attending his children’s events and outdoor adventures with the family.
